A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the Fete such a success in times when it is really difficult to raise vital funds for our local community.
I know it's a big ask but the Lottery Grant (and Donations already held) will not cover all of the items on the Hall Wish List.
Amongst these items are some to make the Hall more desirable to potential future hirers.
Thank You for your ongoing support.
Please click on the link below to open the pdf document that shows the items still on our shopping list.
I am delighted to announce that we have raised over £6,000 for the garden with help from residents, family members local councilors and Worcestershire county Council.
We are now looking at the design of this garden and would welcome any ideas and suggestions along with help in bringing the scheme to fruision.

Eastham Memorial Hall Rebuild Project 2020.
Please visit New Hall Build Project Page for regular updates and to follow the progress
After a long drawn out process topped off with added hindrance of Covid 19 we are able to convey the fabulous news on behalf of the Eastham Memorial Hall Trustees that we have now crossed the line being able to start on the rebuild of the new Memorial Hall. On Monday 20th July 2020 we received an email from The National Lottery to give us formal permission to proceed. The New Hall project is being undertaken by Iris Projects Ltd of whom many will have heard of as they are a Local Firm of long standing with the whole project being handled personally by the Managing Director Peter Hogan. Chris Ham of Amber Projects will be overseeing the project on behalf of the Eastham Memorial Trust and the local community providing certificates throughout each stage of the build project in line with the requirements of The National Lottery.
We can now look forward to all being able to meet up in our new Hall hopefully before the end of the Year depending upon Government guidelines.
Work Started on the removal of the old Hall on 3rd August 2020.
ManyThanks for all the continued support and encouragement.
Due to the guidelines set out by the government please do not enter the Memorial Hall site once work gets underway. Of course at the moment the Hall is closed due to Covid 19. Should you have any questions or concerns please send them to email@example.com
The Contractor has been asked not to engage in any conversation about the project with anyone other than the Trust's representative Chris Ham. (Covid19)
The Business Plan provides a broad background to the project and illustrate how it will be financially self sufficient and benefit the Community in the future. The plan focuses on Health and welfare issues as well as social events.
The Trust recognises that once the capital project is completed the role of Trustees will change to focus on the delivery of these objectives. The support of willing volunteers will – as always – be essential for success!
The projected cost of rebuilding the Memorial Hall is £350,000. It will be funded by Community raised Funds, including fund raising activities, grants from external organisations and donations by residents as well as a grant from The National Lottery.
With thanks to the generosity of many residents and local the Community who have raised funding to cover the shortfall.
